Installing and using our Chrome Extension

Welcome to QualityHive! Follow these simple steps to install our Chrome extension to enhance your web feedback experience.

Step by Step Installation Guide

Step 1: Open the Chrome Web Store

1. Open your Google Chrome browser.

2. Click this link or copy and paste it into the address bar to view the extension: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/cglidfjmlebaenphdfjkpgeaafajldkg

3. On the extension’s page, click the "Add to Chrome" button located on the right side.

Step 2: Confirm Installation

1. A confirmation dialog will appear asking for permissions required by the extension.

2. Click "Add Extension" to confirm and proceed with the installation.

Step 3: Extension Installation Complete

1. Once the extension is installed, you will see the QualityHive icon added to your Chrome browser.

2. We recommend pinning this to your toolbar for quick access, you can do this by clicking the puzzle piece icon and clicking the pin icon next to the QualityHive logo.

Capturing Website Feedback

1. Navigate to the website where you want to provide feedback.

2. Use the provided tools to capture feedback, highlight issues, and add comments directly on the web page.

3. Click on the QualityHive icon in your Chrome toolbar to check the status of the extension if the sidebar is not visible in case you are not currently logged in or do not have the project set up on your QualityHive account.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Extension Not Visible

• Ensure that the extension is properly installed by visiting the extensions page in Chrome: chrome://extensions/.

• Check if the extension is enabled. If not, enable it and restart your browser.

Feedback Submission Issues

• Ensure you have a stable internet connection.

• Verify that you are logged into your QualityHive account.

• Try reloading the page and resubmitting the feedback.
