At QualityHive, we offer flexible subscription plans to suit the varying needs of our users. This guide will help you understand how changing your subscription plan works, including upgrading, downgrading, and the effects on billing.
Navigate to Your Team Settings Page:
Go to the QualityHive website and log in with your credentials.
Click on your settings in the top navigation bar.
Review Available Plans:
Browse through the available subscription plans and compare their features, limits, and pricing.
Select a Plan:
Click on the "Select" on the plan you wish to switch to.
Immediate Effect:
When you upgrade your plan, the change takes effect immediately.
Prorated Charges:
You will be charged a prorated amount for the difference between your current plan and the new plan for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
Future Billing:
On your next billing date (the 1st of the month), you will be charged the full amount of the new plan.
Immediate Effect:
When you downgrade your plan, the change also takes effect immediately.
Prorated Credits:
You will receive a prorated credit for the difference between your current plan and the new plan for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
Future Billing:
On your next billing date, you will be charged the full amount of the new (lower-cost) plan.
Current Plan Cost: $30/month
New Plan Cost: $50/month
Upgrade Date: June 15th
Days Remaining in June: 16 days
Calculation:
Daily cost of current plan: $30 / 30 days = $1 per day
Daily cost of new plan: $50 / 30 days = $1.67 per day
Prorated charge for upgrade: 16 days x ($1.67 - $1) = $10.72
You will be charged $10.72 immediately and $50 on July 1st.
Current Plan Cost: $50/month
New Plan Cost: $30/month
Downgrade Date: June 15th
Days Remaining in June: 16 days
Calculation:
Daily cost of current plan: $50 / 30 days = $1.67 per day
Daily cost of new plan: $30 / 30 days = $1 per day
Prorated credit for downgrade: 16 days x ($1.67 - $1) = $10.72
You will receive a $10.72 credit and be charged $30 on July 1st.

Monitor Usage:
Keep an eye on your usage metrics such as storage, number of tasks, and team members to decide if an upgrade or downgrade is necessary.
