What is a Retrospective?

Retrospective

A Retrospective is a crucial meeting held at the end of a sprint in the Scrum framework. During this meeting, the Scrum team reflects on the sprint's progress, discussing what was successful, what could be improved, and how to incorporate those improvements in the next sprint. The primary objective of a Retrospective is to facilitate continuous improvement by enabling the team to learn from their experiences and make necessary adjustments to enhance their performance and productivity in future sprints.

The Retrospective provides a safe and open environment for team members to share their insights and feedback. It encourages candid discussions about challenges faced, obstacles overcome, and opportunities for improvement. By identifying and addressing issues promptly, the team can implement actionable changes that lead to better collaboration, efficiency, and overall project outcomes. This iterative process of reflection and adaptation helps teams to grow and evolve, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the Agile framework.
